We all knew that Tiger Woods wasn't going to get through his U.S. Open press conference without a question about what happened between himself and Sergio Garcia at the Players Championship and beyond.
Garcia and Woods had an exchange at the Players Championship, only to be followed up by Garcia tossing out a racist comment at an awards dinner in Europe about "fried chicken."
There was immediate apology from Garcia, but he didn't get time to talk to Woods, approaching him on Monday at the driving range at the U.S. Open.
It was brief, but Woods was asked what exactly happened during the exchange during his Tuesday press conference.
"It's already done, we've already gone through it all," Woods said. "It's time for the U.S. Open, and we tee it up in a few days."
For now, the Sergio-Tiger situation is water under the bridge. Time for golf, indeed.
