Day seizes one-shot lead, China prodigy makes cut (Reuters)

By Larry Fine AUGUSTA, Georgia (Reuters) - Australian Jason Day curled in a 13-foot birdie putt at the par-three 16th hole to seize a one-stroke lead at the halfway mark of the Masters in swirling winds at Augusta National on Friday. The 25-year-old Day, a runner-up in the Masters and U.S. Open in 2011, wielded a hot putter to notch 10 one-putts despite some tricky pin positions and shoot a four-under-par 68 that was low score of the day for a 138 total. ...
