Garcia tames wind to share lead in Qatar (Reuters)

DOHA (Reuters) - Sergio Garcia tamed windy conditions to shoot a second-round 66 and join a fourway tie for the lead at the Qatar Masters on Thursday. The Spaniard made six birdies and no bogeys but was most pleased by the way in which he coped with the breeze that blew up after the first round had been played in perfectly calm conditions. "It was not the strong wind we are used to seeing here," Garcia told reporters. "But we had to choose the right clubs and it made some of the drives a little tougher.
